Where to eat near Mambo Beach: restaurants and beach bars two minutes from the apartment

One of the best things about My Paradiso Curaçao's location: you never have to go far for a good dinner. The Mambo Beach Boulevard is a two-minute drive away and an easy walk. Beach by day, dinner with your feet almost in the sand by night.

A selection of what's there at the time of writing (it changes, so check opening hours):

On the beach

• Madero Ocean Club: beach club with a restaurant, pool and regular entertainment. Popular for weekend brunch.
• Hemingway Beach Bar & Restaurant (at LionsDive Beach Resort): breakfast, lunch and dinner on the beach or the wooden deck above it, international with a Caribbean twist.
• Chill: laid-back beach bar with hammocks between the palms, perfect for a sunset cocktail.

On the boulevard

• Nemo (at LionsDive): Japanese, with sushi, wok dishes and sunset views.
• Pizza Mare: Italian, for an easy pizza night.
• Bonita: colorful and casual, with salads, club sandwiches and smoothies; happy hour on Friday evenings.

Practical tips

• Reservations are a good idea in high season (December to April), especially at weekends.
• Most places accept both Antillean guilders and US dollars; cards are accepted almost everywhere.
• Prefer to cook at home? The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, and supermarkets are within walking distance.
